JOIN US FOR AN ENLIGHTENING EVENING WITH TINA THOMPSON AND KEISHA LANCELIN     JULY 15, 2015 @ 6:30 PM

WIFTA offers free programs for its members.  For this month’s program, WIFTA has invited Director of Programming, Tina Thompson of Aspire TV and Public Affairs Director, Keisha Lancelin of CW 69 to speak the membership about acquiring programs.

Tina is responsible for the negotiation and acquisition of movies, series, music and documentaries for the network.  She works on the development of network original series.  Tina is also responsible for the daily and long range planning of Aspire’s programming schedule.

Keisha Lancelin is the Public Affairs Director at CW69.  She is also the spokesperson, talent, producer and community liaison.  She is the host of the community affairs program, Focus Atlanta.

Learn how to break story on your half-hour and one-hour pilot.  This is a four and a half hour intensive workshop designed to help writers:

Identify the tone and scope of their series.

Break story on the original pilot

Make decisions about structure

Define your characters and prospective relationships
